A must see in Hong Kong that is to be included in your journey, “the Ocean Park†is a perfect destination to take your family to experience utmost joy. It also provides a variety of opportunities for children to gain education on the world under the Sea water while engaging in practical sessions with professional instructors.

That park was opened in 1977 locating on the southern end of the Hong Kong territory. The park lies throughout 870,000 square meters over the Nanlang Mountain and considered as one of the largest theme parks in the country. The park witnesses a huge number of visitors every year and in 2007 it has welcome approximately 4.9 million people, which is even higher than Hong Kong Disneyland. The two entrances of the park are linked by cable-car which also gives a pleasurable ride over the Mount Nanlang and Huang Zhu Keng Valley lowlands.

The journey begins from the Middle Kingdom where visitors are exposed to ancient temples and many older structures. Then the itinerary will take you through the Panda habitat where two pandas can be seen very closely but not to feed. The other feature that comes in your away is the “Dinosaur-Now and Then†that displays stunning dinosaur models including Chinese Giant Salamander and Chinese Alligator. It will also give you considerable learning as to how the dinosaurs became extinct about 65 million years back.

Furthering your on your route you will enter to the Dolphin Breeding Center where some professional experts would give you instructions and learning about daily living habits of this intelligent maritime mammal. The Ocean Park offers an unforgettable entertainment for its visitors with its Ocean Theater where sea lions and dolphins show up a brilliant performance in a massive tank under the guidance of their instructors.
The visitors of the Ocean Park never have to worry over their accommodation near the park. there is a wide variety of outstanding hospitality services such as Hotel Jen that is included to the best category of hotels in Hong Kong.
